Key Features of the DJI Zenmuse H30T Series
- Enhanced Zoom Camera: Experience up to 400x digital zoom and 34x optical zoom in 48MP effective pixels with enhanced stabilization in telephoto videos.
- Laser sight: This payload can determine the distance of objects within an impressive range of 3 – 3000 m with an accuracy of 0.2 m below 500 m and 1 m above 500 m.
- NIR auxiliary light: Illuminate dark environments up to 100 meters away using NIR bands. These bands detect infrared vibrations (invisible to humans) within 850 meters capturing their nuances and combinations of absorption bands.
- Detect Details: The H30 has a superior observing effect on target details at 700m distance compared to the H20.
- Multi-Touch Gesture: Easily manage the H30’s camera capabilities using the touchscreen settings on the DJI RC Plus controller, allowing for simple user navigation to access advanced camera settings
- Night Vision: Enable night mode with H30T color or black and white options for greater clarity and accuracy at night and in dark places.
- Powerful infrared: Works at temperatures between -20°C and 1600°C, achieving up to 32x digital zoom and Ultra HD mode.
- Greater Integration: The H30T boasts the ability to integrate with five main modules: a wide-angle camera, a zoom camera, a thermal infrared camera, a laser rangefinder and a NIR auxiliary light.
H30 series photography modes
The H30 has three photography modes, all designed to help you capture accurate, high-quality data and footage.
- Click and aim: Easily control the gimbal by double-clicking your point of interest on DJI RC Plus and the camera will, in turn, move the gimbal until the selected area is in the center of the screen.
- One-finger swap: To adjust the gimbal angle, press and hold the screen until the slider appears, then slide a finger across the screen.
- 3-finger swipe: To hide all settings, simply swipe down with three fingers to hide all settings in the interface, allowing you to focus solely on looking at the camera feed.
H30 night scene mode
- NIR Auxiliary Light: When activated, the auxiliary light, also known as an IR spotlight, and the IR light option will turn on automatically. This changes the camera view to black and white while the auxiliary light enhances the illumination in the center of the screen.
- Black and White Mode: In this mode, the landscape appears in black and white and infrared light can be used to illuminate the area below without causing excessive brightness.
- Color Mode: With this feature, the IR filter that would cut off infrared light is removed, allowing you to see a brighter landscape. Improved noise reduction: In the night vision setting,
- You’ll find noise reduction options, which will allow you to tone down background noise while filming.
- Laser-assisted focusing: By default, a laser rangefinder aids focusing. With Night Scene mode and IR light activated, the laser dot is visible in the center of the camera view in black and white. You have the option to disable the laser module in On-Demand mode, which turns it off when the RNG function is not in use.
H30T thermal imaging camera
- High-Resolution Images: Collect your data in exceptional quality with a 4x improvement in resolution to 1280 x 1024 when the zoom ratio is AT X2 or higher.
- Vast Color Palette: Capture 10 types of color palette settings, including: Warm White/Warm Black/Lava/Tint/Iron Red/Rainbow 1/Rainbow 2/Medical/Arctic/Fulgurite.
- Three thermal camera modules: For law enforcement and wildlife monitoring, a Live View mode is available; for inspections, high gain mode is recommended; and for fire monitoring missions, we recommend the low gain mode.
- Split View: In Photography mode, the H30T supports split-screen photos. During video recording it is possible to have a split-screen view with a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
- Linked Zoom: Linked Zoom: Supports simultaneous zoom and infrared viewing, making it easier for infrared search and visible light confirmation, while the optical center alignment of the zoom and infrared cameras is more accurate.
- Temperature alerts: The H30T will alert you when the temperature exceeds the threshold, allowing you to monitor temperature changes in real time.
- Improve your temperature range: The new IR density filter accessory, once installed, greatly improves the thermal temperature measurement range by using the light absorption and reflection properties of the material, molded into a lens, to reduce the intensity of the light.
- DJI Thermal Analysis Tool 3.0: Infrared photos can be imported for temperature measurement, with batch parameter adjustments and exportable analysis reports.
- *Infrared photos taken in high-resolution Live View mode do not have temperature information, so they cannot be analyzed in the DTAT software.
Supports color night vision
Both the zoom camera and wide-angle camera of the Zenmuse H30 series can switch to Night Scene mode in low-light conditions, improving the quality of live viewing and recording. This ensures operational efficiency and precision at night, allowing continuous operation from day to night.
Supports black and white night vision and NIR illumination
In Night Scene mode, the Zenmuse H30 series zoom camera supports IR light for infrared enhancement and NIR illumination. The camera switches from the live feed to a grayscale image by removing the IR filter, thus strengthening the contrast between light and dark areas and making it easier to identify subjects. When the NIR auxiliary light is activated, the zoom camera can benefit from additional NIR illumination, especially useful for night surveillance and search and rescue operations.
1280×1024 infrared resolution
The infrared thermal camera boasts a resolution of 1280×1024, 4 times higher than that of the previous generation, with a digital zoom of up to 32×. This allows you to have an overview of the entire scene and be able to zoom in on specific areas. At higher zoom levels, Zenmuse H30T automatically activates the UHR (Ultra-High Resolution) Infrared Image function, ensuring the clarity of infrared images.
High resolution mode for even more precise observation
Zenmuse H30T supports three infrared detection modes: High Gain mode for more precise temperature measurement, Low Gain mode for a wider measurement range and the new High Resolution mode , particularly useful for observing objects, people or animals with small temperature differences, which makes it very practical for security, emergency, search and rescue operations.
Simultaneous zoom from visual and IR cameras
The Zenmuse H30T’s zoom camera and infrared cameras support Link Zoom, allowing operators to scale visible light and thermal images in tandem while maintaining the same point of view. This side-by-side comparison of image details helps you locate your subject more quickly, increasing efficiency and saving effort.
Temperature measurement range -20°C to 1600°C
With the installation of an infrared density filter, the infrared camera can measure temperatures up to 1600°C, 3 times higher than the previous generation. This is particularly useful for firefighting and high-temperature operations, as it allows you to more effectively assess temperature variations and quickly locate hot spots, increasing the efficiency of rescue operations.
